Michael Stubblefield

CEO

Michael Stubblefield was named our CEO in November 2017. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Stubblefield served as Avantor’s CEO, a position he held from May 2014 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Stubblefield served as a Senior Expert for Chemicals Practice of McKinsey & Company from 2013 to 2014. Previously, Mr. Stubblefield held a variety of roles at Celanese Corporation from 1994 to 2012 including Vice President and General Manager, Advanced Engineered Materials and Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Stubblefield earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Utah, as well as an MBA from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

James Bramwell

Executive Vice President

Strategic Partners

James Bramwell is our Executive Vice President, Strategic Partners. In his current role, Mr. Bramwell leads our customer relationships and contracts globally. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Bramwell served as VWR’s Senior Vice President, Strategic Partners, a position he held from June 2008 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Bramwell served in several roles at VWR including Area Vice President of the Southwest U.S. and Mexico and Vice President of Major Accounts. Mr. Bramwell also served as the President of the VWR Foundation for four years. Mr. Bramwell earned a B.S. in business management from Brigham Young University.

Christophe Couturier

Executive Vice President

Strategy and Business Transformation

Christophe Couturier is our Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Transformation. In his current role, Mr. Couturier leads our Integration Management Office, runs the strategic planning process as well as key strategic projects, and has leadership oversight for our new Avantor Business System team and associated lean processes. Prior to joining Avantor, Mr. Couturier held a variety of merger integration, general management, finance and consulting positions at multiple life science companies, including more than a decade with MilliporeSigma. Mr. Couturier earned an M.Sc. in management from ESSEC Business School in Cergy-Pontoise, France.

Gregory L. Cowan

Chief Financial Officer

Gregory L. Cowan is our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In his current role, Mr. Cowan is responsible for our financial operations on a global basis. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Cowan served as VWR’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, a position he held from June 2009 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Cowan served as VWR’s Vice President and Corporate Controller. During his tenure at VWR, Mr. Cowan oversaw compliance efforts, the development of global policies and procedures, as well as internal and external reporting processes. He has also been directly involved in various strategic projects involving commercial activities and changes to systems and infrastructure. In the past five years, Mr. Cowan also served as a Director of Emtec, Inc. Mr. Cowan earned a B.A. in accounting from Rutgers University.

Bjorn Hofman

Chief Operating Officer

Bjorn Hofman is our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In his current role, Mr. Hofman leads all our manufacturing and procurement capabilities as well as our Portfolio organization globally. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Hofman served as Avantor’s Executive Vice President, Biopharma, Research & Diagnostics from November 2016 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Hofman served as Avantor’s Chief Operating Office from 2015 to 2016 and Executive Vice President of Business Operations and General Manager for Europe from 2014 to 2015. Prior to joining Avantor, Mr. Hofman acted as Senior Vice President of Advanced Technologies at MERCK KGaA from 2013 to 2014 and held a variety of roles at Celanese Corporation from 2009 to 2011. Mr. Hofman earned a M.S. in chemical engineering from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.

Ulf Kepper

Services

Ulf Kepper is our Executive Vice President, Services. In his current role, Mr. Kepper is responsible for our global service offerings including onsite services, clinical trials, and biorepository platforms to support our customer’s operations. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Kepper served as VWR’s Senior Vice President, VWR Services, a position he held from June 2014 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Kepper served as VWR’s Vice President for Global Marketing Services responsible for product data management, marketing communications and e-business. Mr. Kepper earned degrees in computer science and economics from the University of Darmstadt in Darmstadt, Germany.

Dr. Ashish K. Kulkarni

Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Ashish K. Kulkarni is our Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. In his current role, Dr. Kulkarni will be responsible for incubating new technologies and building a strong pipeline to support future growth. Prior to assuming his current position, Dr. Kulkarni served as Avantor’s Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer from June 2016 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Dr. Kulkarni served as Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at Celanese Corporation, from 2012 to 2016, and Vice President of Research and Development for the Advanced Engineering Materials and Emulsions business units, from 2010 to 2012. Dr. Kulkarni earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from Osmania University, India, as well as an M.S. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Eric McAllister

Chief Human Resources Officer

Eric McAllister is our Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. In his current role, Mr. McAllister leads our Human Resources organization globally. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. McAllister served as Avantor’s Chief Human Resources Officer from March 27, 2017 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. McAllister served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for Westinghouse Electric Company from 2014 to 2017. Prior to Westinghouse, Mr. McAllister held various global HR leadership positions, including Global Vice President of Human Resources for Danaher Corporation’s Communications Platform, Chief HR Officer at Omniture, and Senior Human Resources Director at Microsoft Corporation. Mr. McAllister earned a B.A. in social anthropology and Japanese from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Justin Miller

General Counsel

Justin Miller is our Executive Vice President, General Counsel. In his current role, Mr. Miller leads our global legal organization. Prior to joining Avantor, he was an attorney at Ballard, Spahr, LLP, an American Lawyer top 100 firm. Mr. Miller also spent 20 years in various leadership positions at DuPont, most recently as Associate General Counsel and Chief Litigation Counsel. He has extensive commercial experience in pharmaceuticals, electronics materials, and in biotechnology in addition to his background in securities and corporate governance. Mr. Miller earned a Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from University of Pennsylvania.

Devashish Ohri

Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA)

Devashish Ohri is our Executive Vice President, Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA). In his current role, Mr. Ohri leads all sales, marketing, services and operations for our business in Asia/MEA. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Ohri served as Avantor’s Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific, a position he held from September 2014 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Ohri served as Managing Director, South Asia for Life Technologies from 2010 to 2014. Mr. Ohri earned an MBA from INSEAD in France and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Henrik Russmann

Acting Executive Vice President

Europe

Henrik Russmann is our Acting Executive Vice President, Europe. In this interim role, Mr. Russmann is responsible for our sales, marketing, services and operations for the European region. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Russmann served as Finance Leader, Europe since 1999. His role expanded in 2010 to include Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, and in 2012 to include Global Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior to joining Avantor, Mr. Russmann worked for Finance at Merck Germany’s manufacturing and R&D organizations, and more recently in the Benelux and Germany lab distribution business. Mr. Russmann earned a Bachelor of business administration and computer science from the University of Applied Science Rhineland-Palatinate.

Corey Walker

Americas, Biomaterials and Advanced Technologies

Corey Walker is our Executive Vice President, Americas, Biomaterials and Advanced Technologies. In his current role, Mr. Walker leads our Biomaterials/Advanced Technologies (NuSil) and Electronic Materials businesses. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Walker served as Avantor’s Executive Vice President, Biomaterials and Advanced Technologies from November 2016 to November 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Walker served as Global Vice President of the Sperry Drilling Services and Multichem global business groups at Halliburton Energy Services from 2013 to 2016, and also led global strategy for the Completion and Production division. Prior to that time, Mr. Walker held a variety of strategic and business unit leadership roles at Dow Chemical. Mr. Walker earned a B.A. in marketing and business management from Brigham Young University, as well as a M.A. in business administration from Harvard Business School.

Mike Wondrasch

Executive Vice President

Chief Information Officer

Mike Wondrasch is our Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In his current role, Mr. Wondrasch is responsible for all aspects of the company’s global information and digital technology including e-commerce, digital marketing and cyber security. Prior to joining Avantor, Mr. Wondrasch led IT organizations at Fortune 100 companies, including PepsiCo, AmerisourceBergen and Mars. Most recently, he was Global Chief Technology Officer for Bunge, a leading agribusiness and food company. He holds a M.S.E. in computer engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in computer science from Villanova University.
